Good Morning America

I will mourn the day Paul Harvey delivers his last broadcast. Yes, I like to listen to the old man give his take on the news of the day as I drive to work in the mornings. Sure he hawks products throught out his delivery, but that is the nature of the broadcast beast. Paul takes me back in time and for better or worse, I seem to daydream about the past more than the future. Maybe my best days are behind me.

The son received the best possible outcome for his transgression. If he stays out of trouble in the future, all should be fine. Not all kids are as bright as mine. As we were waiting for our case to be heard, the judge addressed a boy of about 17. He made a smart ass remark to her, saying he did not have to do what she said. Wrong move, Romeo. The judge had a very large bailiff escort the little punk to her bench. Once again he was defiant. The judge, on the spot, had him taken to a juvenile detention center for contempt of court. I suspect this kid had gotten away with speaking like that to his parents and teachers in the past. The kid was foolish to think that a judge would put up with the same bullshit. Hope he enjoyed his dinner of bologna.

FYI

I want to go camping.
