I lifted my previous answer to the same (Similar, Violet's included a curse) meme at Violet's place, which was:
A botanist told me that if you gather up a bunch of Stuff in a jar and put some water in it and let it sit in the sunlight and plant a seed in it, the seed will grow like crazy; or if you do the same thing but put it in a damp, dark place, mushrooms will grow in it. And then, if you eat the mushrooms, you see stars.
Can you guess the book?
Yes, I did the meme a second time because for some reason I don't want to disappoint Pennyjar or have her believe I ignored her tag. Why is that? We've never met. Never shared a meal. But I still don't want the negative karma of not participating in her request. Maybe it is because she discusses the same doubts I have had.
