Light Comes Out Of Darkness
Does everyone have their minds made up on the upcoming presidential election? The primaries will give us the most diverse options of any election in history. Passions are high on both sides but it seems to me the democratic voters are more pumped up at this point in the race. It could be because the R's have their nominee in the ring and the D's are still deciding who to back.
Regardless of the outcome, do you really expect a great change to come to your state, city, home? We will still have to work for a living and strive to keep our love life intact. No one will pick up our bar tabs at the local tavern. Your car will still look like a rolling turd unless you wash the SOB and your kids will be a source of worry and concern and maybe pride until the day you die.
We know the truth behind all politicians. They will say anything to get elected. They will do anything to stay elected.
I'm not sure why I stepped up on the soap box today. After all, I would rather have our system of government of all others I have seen in action around the globe.

My platform would be:
Keep you powder dry.
Help your family and friends.
Don't piss off your neighbors.
Don't expect more than you are willing to give.
