I'll fish you up real good
The weather changed for the worse. It is cold (50F) and misty and depressing. The evening meal plan is tamales so that will help warm the innards. I think I have enough fire wood for one more night so after dinner I will be laying by the fire wondering where my early Spring has fled to.
The son and I have changed fishing plans. We are going to take the tent and camping gear and spend a night or two at a local lake this weekend. If we are up to it we will make the trip to the gulf the following weekend. All we need is better weather. How did that old song go? Older whisky, younger women, faster horses and more money. Yes, I believe those are the correct words.
Tomorrow is Friday and I'm already excited. I hope I never grow up.
