At Ease
Still waiting on parts to get the wife's vehicle back on the road. Called on Monday and was told they will not arrive until Thursday. I guess we are saving fuel and cash by just driving one vehicle, but I will feel better when both are back on the road. The Thursday delivery time could also delay our trip to Fiesta. I don't want to take the truck unless forced to. That means working Late Thursday on installing parts, with a possibility of having to go to the dealer Friday morning for a new relay if the old one is fried. If all goes well we should still be able to dine on the Riverwalk by noon Friday.
The Blind Melon show was a hoot! We were ten feet from the stage and had a blast. With the exception of young girls jumping up and down and crashing into me and the chick shaking her head back and forth and whipping me with her hair, it was grand. I smuggled in some vodka to go with the Shiner Bock, which made us feel like high school kids sneaking booze into the prom. All in all it beat the hell out of staying home and watching tv.
