A brief moment in time
I feel good! (just think of James Brown singing)
Wonderful long weekend. Saw a few new bands. Groupo Fantsama is one fantastic group. The fat trumpet player can play like nobody's business. We also saw a band called Drum Jamm or some variation of that spelling. The son is a percussionist so we brought him along to check them out. They were OK, but not as talented as G F .
There are small squash and cucumbers and tomatoes in the garden. The radishes are harvested and bagged. Need to find someone to give them to beacuse I have lost my taste for these particular veggies. I planted more cukes and some watermelon in the old radish patch. I'm pleased with the garden so far this season.
The daughter is planning a road trip to Miami with a couple of girlfriends in a few weeks. Yes, I'm worried. That's what fathers do.
