What? What? What?
Greetings, Bosenberries.
It's been a whirlwind here the last few days. First, the in-laws have been at our house since Tuesday. The MIL is here for cochlear implant surgery, which happened this morning. She came through fine and will be staying with us for a few days before returning home.
The daughter is still on the Flordia road trip, but not by choice. The car overheated in Miami and they put it in a shop for repairs. $350 and a day later they were back on the road and heading back to Texas. By the time they got to Alabama the car overheated again. So, after another night at a hotel and another shop visit, they are back on the road home. If nothing else it will be a good learning experience for them. The lesson is "Sometimes life is a bitch".
It's hot as hell, which is great for the garden. Tonight will see fried squash on the table. OH, I now have ears of CORN! They are not big, about the size of a cuban cigar, but I have faith thay they will grow to become plump bastards.
Overall, I'm doing OK. Just hoping the girls make it back to Texas without any more problems.
